Adventure Awaits Travel by Ronda

We traveled from sea level, to the Upcountry and ended up at Haleakala National Park. We got to see all sorts of different terrain. Once we reached the top, the view was amazing!! It was beautiful being above the clouds. It was an adventure we were glad we didn't miss! 🌺

Today we headed to the Upcountry of Maui. It was so peaceful and beautiful! Fun to see the coffee fields, cows and horses.

Our next day Ava and Mya took surfing lessons. Ava loved it, Mya not so much. I think they both did great for their first time surfing! Next we headed out to explore different parts of the island. Landon got to try his first Hawaiian shaved ice. 🍧 We drove through the Monkey Pod tree tunnel and headed back for a delicious dinner that Landon grilled for us!

Before we headed home we took a little drive across the river into Illinois. 😂 Then it was time to wrap up this trip and head home! It's been an amazing time with Ava! Treasuring these moments. She's growing up so fast! 💕

Look who joined us for the last part of Ava's clue trip! Ava was so excited to see Beccah! Today's adventure was going to Union Station, riding the huge ferris wheel, getting a private tour of the beautiful Historic Union Station hotel and going up into the Gateway Arch! We ended our day having dinner at Fitz's where they bottle their own rootbeer and other pop.

After dropping her friend off we headed to Ava's next adventure. Flying non-rev is a fabulous blessing we don't take for granted. But..the downside is sometimes we don't get on our planned flight. We were given an 8 hr opportunity to explore the Houston airport 😂 We explored the train system, had a yummy lunch and of course needed some coffee to keep awake. We got some great people watching done! 😂

Ava's next adventure was taking a ferry ride. It was so fun to be on water and seeing all of the dolphins around the ferry!

Our next day we picked up Ava's best friend who just moved to Texas. Ava had no idea we were doing this! She was SO surprised! We headed to Galveston to stay in the gorgeous San Luis Resort. We ended our day exploring this fabulous resort and having some ice cream. 🍦

Next we toured the Blue Bell Creamery and had some of their yummy ice cream. We walked (shopped) all around Brenham. Brenham has these fabulous murals painted all around town. We had fun finding them all!
