Each year, United outdoes every airline with the most creative routes. I’ve never seen any airline open up new routes and destinations as quickly as United. From Okinawa to Toulouse, United will introduce direct service to 10 new cities, with 8 being served nonstop for the first time ever by a US airline.

🇰🇪Fresh Flight Review ✈︎ Kenya Airways 787 Business Class 🥂

On my quest to fly every airline, I finally crossed off the ‘Spirit of Africa’ Kenya Airways from the list. From their ‘Pride Lounge’ to their flagship Business Class, let’s have a look at their premium experience.

Award prices on this route were outrageous, so I paid $900 cash for a 2 leg Business Class itinerary starting from Mauritius (MRU), with a stopover in Nairobi (NBO).

📌 Flight Review: KQ 762 Nairobi (NBO) · Johannesburg (JNB)

🛫 Flew their The Boeing Company 787-8 Dreamliner on this 3.5 hour flight & love it when airlines fly widebody planes on short routes
🥂 Service was excellent as the crew was warm, friendly, and attentive
💺 The lay-flat seats were subpar & outdated, which was disappointing as everything else was fantastic
👛 Amenity kits were mediocre & didn’t feature any notable partnership
🍽️ Delicious lamb dish & cooked perfectly. No appetizers were served due to the short flight
🍸 Enjoyed an excellent regional Cabernet Sauvignon

Earlier this year, I redeemed 35,000 Atmos Rewards to fly LATAM Airlines New Business Class suite, each way. This would also mark my first time in South America, so I planned a 10 day trip centered around the sacred ruins of Peru.

🇵🇪 Stayed 2 nights in the Sacred Valley at Tambo del Inka in Urubamba, a Marriott Bonvoy and property. The pool and surrounding mountains were incredible.

🇵🇪 Stayed 2 nights in Cuzco at the Palacio del Inka, a Marriott Bonvoy and The Luxury Collection property. Loved staying in a 500 year old historic church, converted into a luxurious hotel.

🇵🇪 Stayed 1 night in Cuzco at the Novotel Cusco, an ALL Accor property, which also featured a colonial style courtyard

🇵🇪 Fantastic meal in Cuzco at Morena Peruvian Kitchen, where I tried alpaca skewers and friend cuy (or guinea pig)

⓵ Where is Mahali Mzuri?

Mahali Mzuri is located in the greater Maasai Mara region of Kenya, nestled inside the private Olare Motorogi Conservancy—over 35,000 acres of protected wilderness. The camp is just a short, 1-hour flight from Nairobi.

⓶ What’s the difference between a Conservancy and a National Reserve? What are the entry fees?

While both offer incredible access to the same ecosystem, a Conservancy and a National Reserve offer distinct experiences. National Reserves are public land with larger crowds, lower daily fees, and strict rules like curfews and no off-roading. Conservancies are private land protected by local tribes, in partnership with the surrounding camps. You’ll find fewer crowds and more flexible rules, like the ability to off-road freely.

⓷ How do I get there & what is a bush flight?

The easiest way to reach Mahali Mzuri is via a regional “bush flight”—a short 1-hour hopper on a small prop plane operating out of Nairobi’s Wilson Airport (WIL). Book with AirKenya or Safarilink directly to Olare Orok Airstrip. Your guide will be waiting on the tarmac with chilled ch*****ne ready to kick off your trip.

🪷Breathtaking ✈︎ Add these 5 stunning temples in Northern Thailand to your bucketlist & swipe to my favorite Temple #3✨

After a dozen visits to Thailand, I finally made my way up north to Chiang Mai & Chiang Rai. I was so excited to trade in the beach life, for lush jungles & epic mountains. But, most importantly, for the temples.

📌 Save & share this list for your next visit:

⓵ Wat Rong Khun (White Temple, Chiang Rai): A glittery mix of white and silver, this was my favorite temple of the trip. Although it was built in the last 30 years, the intricacy is unmatched.

⓶ Rong Suea Ten (Blue Temple, Chiang Rai): Rich with blue & gold, I loved the grandeur of this temple where the white Buddhas contrasted beautifully with all the bold colors.

⓷ Wat Huay Pla Kang (Lady Buddha, Chiang Rai): Built atop of a mountain, this 20+ story Lady Buddha was the largest statue I’d ever seen. Visit during golden hour to admire & capture all its beauty.

⓸ Wat Phan Tao (Teak Temple, Chiang Mai): A more modest temple in the middle of town, I loved the dark wood and moodiness of this sacred place.

⓹ Wat Chedi Luang (Temple of the Big Stupa, Chiang Mai): One of the north’s oldest and most sacred brick temples, the scale of this place of worship was magnificent along with huge elephant statues. At least, what’s left of it.
