Gisselle flew all the way from Brooklyn, NY to fish with us! She really wanted to catch a bluefin tuna. Little did she know she would have to take a bite out of the bluefin heart as is customary for your first tuna. Boat limits(8) Bluefin and (8) Jumbo Bonito. Some birthday fish for Logan and We made our rounds and had just a couple opportunities. Grateful to put a nice yellowtail on the deck so that had something to slap. Good times as always with this group. Take your kids fishing. We are looking to get offshore this week. Some bigger bluefin are moving in. Vamanos.

First offshore trip of the season was historical and unprecedented. We walked it off with a Grand slam: 10 bluefin tuna(limits) 3 yellowfin tuna, 2 dorado, 1 yellowtail and home early. 69 degree water in the middle of April. The crazy thing is our first offshore fish were dorado and yellowtail and yellowfin all caught before the bluefin. That just doesn’t happen. It’s going to be a wild season!! I urge you to make your bookings today. Let’s go fishing!!

Big yellers, some lings, sculpin and other rockfish. The big ones wanted to play today. Lost as many as we landed. The boys wanted yellowtail and that’s what they got. Always grateful when a plan works out and the fish cooperate. Great scoop of sardines from and always coming in clutch.

Thomas talked a big game and backed it up. A nice 40” halibut and 24” lingcod with some quality sculpin, reds and other rockfish. Not bad for your first time fishing on a boat in the ocean. He definitely out fished me and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Good times on our 3 hr morning trip in less than ideal conditions. A fun mother/son trip with . Thanks for fishing with us!
