✨Scenes from an epic Costa Rica road trip ✨

Costa Rica quickly stole my heart! I had an amazing time hiking among volcanoes, visiting waterfalls, looking for wildlife, and more.

Here are some highlights:

🌋Visiting Paos Volcano and Arenal Volcano

🍩Floating in the brilliant blue water of Rio Celeste

🦜Seeing the most beautiful birds at Monteverde Cloud Reserve

🦥Seeing TONS of sloths at Bogarin Trail, along with other places. Our best view of a sloth moving was actually at our hotel

After hiking in all 50 states, these are just a few of my favorite US hiking destinations for summer!

Please make sure to leave no trace wherever you’re hiking or exploring this summer. Stay on the trails, pack out your trash, don’t approach wildlife and follow rules for campfires.

Here is one trail I recommend in each area (the trails shown in the video) 👇

📍Glacier National Park, MT: Upper Two Medicine Lake & Twin Falls (4.2 miles if you take the ferry across Two Medicine Lake)

📍South Central Alaska: Gold Cord Lake (1.8 miles)

📍Sawtooth Mountains, ID: Alice Lake (12 miles)

📍MN North Shore: Mt Josephine (2.5 miles)

📍Salt Lake City, UT: Lake Blanche (6.4 miles)

After visiting 60 US national parks, here are a few of my favorite bucket list experiences!

❄️Seeing Bryce Canyon National Park with a dusting of snow (Utah)
🐻Watching grizzly bears fish at Brooks Falls in Katmai National Park (Alaska)
🚙Driving the highest continually paved road in the US at Rocky Mountain National Park (Colorado)
🌉Doing the bridge walk at New River Gorge (West Virginia)
🧂Visiting the lowest point in North America at Death Valley (California)
🪜Climbing up and down into cliff dwellings at Mesa Verde (Colorado)
🏝️Visiting a remote island walking on a moat at Dry Tortugas (Florida)
🛩️Going flightseeing above the largest US national park, Wrangell-St. Elias (Alaska)
🌳Seeing the largest trees in the world at Sequoia (California)

A few things still on my bucket list (besides visiting the 7 parks I have left!):
