With the conditions being far off from what we need them to be to Fish yellowtail at the islands, we diverted to filling the cooler with taco meat, and a good session of calico bass fishing in the only clean green water we found. Still an excellent day on the water with limits of good size cod , sheep head and white fish.

This is an appreciation and remembrance post💙. Gabe Morales was a good friend of mine and coworker on the Nautilus. He was such a big part of the formative years of this boat and business. He was One of those guys who could effortlessly keep the positivity going, even after a long night of driving the boat. His hospitality background brought a different aspect to the Charter business that I now implement every single day on the water; next level customer service and care for every single person’s experience.

Gabe, I will never forget our days on the Water together and goddamn did we have some good ones man. We were in there getting to work when it was damn good, 2019-2022.

I will never forget waking up from a dead sleep to you hollering while hanging a 280 pounder, all alone. Epic. The endgame on that Fish did not go in our favor, but it was an absolute pleasure fighting that thing with you and

The guys got their go around on these healthy spring yellowtail turned hamachi sashimi + some bottom dwellers to top it off. The Coronado islands are a great choice right now for a shot at these yellowtail. We run these trips from 6 AM to 6 PM, everything included besides permit and alcohol. Bring your passport and come on out. $3300 for up to six people.
