We had a fun day out on the water yesterday. No whales ☹️, but we received a tip about a huge mola mola that was lounging on the surface. Turned out to be one of the biggest I have seen in a long time! We were chasing flocks of diving birds and found lots of short beaked common dolphins, and a family of sea lions out for a "family picnic"!

They are BACK! The orcas are back in San Diego waters & we were lucky enough to see them on both of our trips! Such a rare treat for our guests! The orcas surprised me by surfacing right behind me & started surfing in our wake!

Fun, fun, fun!!!! Playing with high flying bottle nose dolphins! There were quite a few babies in this pod of dolphins and we were able to photograph one as it came up next to our boat.
