I own my property for the full term of the timeshare, and receive a title! TRUE: When you purchase a timeshare, you receive a deed, just like on a traditional real estate deal. The only difference is the term of the deed, meaning if you purchase an existing timeshare. You own that unit for the term of 5, 8, 12, or even 20 years; or how ever many years are left on that specific unit(For which ever week you have purchased per year). I can really say "I OWN A VACATION HOME"
TRUE: YES, you own a nice slice of paradise! No one needs to know its only for a week, once a year! Let that be your secret. What ever your prerogative is! If I buy a timeshare at a specific resort, I'm stuck with going to that destination every year!!! FALSE: This is rarely the case, in most cases, we purchase GOLD member units, which are exchangeable for your week with another GOLD member resort. This makes your possobilities endless!! Most GOLD resorts(timeshare plans), are commodoties all over the world. Depedning on which unit you purchase, you have the opportunity to trade your week in CABO SAN LUCAS for a week in HAWAII. Option 2, trade your week with someone else that owns a timeshare.( This is a very popular practice in the timeshare industry).
