St. Naum Monastery in Lake Ohrid, North Macedonia:

The monastery was established in the Bulgarian Empire in 905 by St Naum of Ohrid himself. St Naum is also buried in the church.
The monastery overlooks Europe’s one of it’s massive and deepest lake Ohrid which hugs the mountainous regions of Albania and North Macedonia.

Nightingales went to the Balkans last Spring and I made sure that one of the 9 countries in our itinerary would include North Macedonia due to its historical, spiritual, cultural significance and the country’s gorgeous nature.

A must visit if The Balkans is in your bucket list. Certainly, I’m here to help you realize your Balkan dreams.

Travel tips for Philippines‼️‼️

Best months coz there are not many travelers due to school days plus its not too hot yet! ➡️ Dec-February

Very busy months➡️ (March-May), summer vacation for all schools.

Monsoon/Typhoon/Rainy season: ➡️June-November ( take note: Palawan will already experience some rain towards last week of May)

Best snorkeling: ➡️Apo Reef, Apo Island, Agutayan Island, Busuanga/Coron, (Palawan region),Camiguin, Moalboal, Balicasag, Tubod Siquijor and around Boracay.

Virgin uninhabited islands with sea caves and pristine beaches: ➡️🤫 Calami an group of islands and the region between El Nido and Busuanga (Bonus: best dive sites.... all those Japanese ships which sank during World War 2 are all in these region which made it perfect dive sites, incredible underwater world).

Best island for variety of seahorses:➡️🤫🤫🤫 Molokabok in between Negros and Bantayan Island

Region most likely you’ll see Dolphins: ➡️🤫🤫🤫 In between Negros and Cebu (most likely towards the Negros side).
