Corporate Helicopters is ready to hire a Staff Accountant to join their San Diego, CA office. This person will take ownership of daily financial activities, reporting, and internal processes. This position is an exciting opportunity to make a mark on the accounting department and provide ongoing value in line with business growth.
The responsibilities include the oversight and analysis of the full bookkeeping process and performing complex accounting clerical duties with a good attitude and work ethic. Applicant must be able to follow company procedures, be extremely organized and have attention to detail. The position requires the ability to prioritize tasks and to work accurately and independently at a fast pace. Analytical skills are mandatory, and knowledge of aviation is beneficial.
Three years previous computer accounting experience is required. Experience with Mac and PC computers and the following programs are preferred: accounting software, Microsoft Office and database systems. Candidates must have diversified work experience in A/P, A/R, G/L, reconciling, purchase orders, keeping records, filing CA Sales Tax and other required reports.
