Epic golf Adventure to Ireland in a Caravan. 17 rounds of golf in 16 Days across the wild Atlantic. Weather was tough but added joy to the trip watching my ball blow around like a Nerf. Great group of Homies and the locals were awesome. Hard to describe the beauty of the wild Atlantic. A bit like big sur meets Yosemite with farmland mixed in. Unbelievable beauty everywhere we went. Driving a Caravan on tiny roads is serious business and scary but only a couple mirrors were damaged out of the 6 caravans on the trip. The golf was tough and not very pretty but the joy in every hole was constant! Love the place and can't wait to go back!

MT. Woodson golf course in Ramona CA. Is Magical.

MT woodson is built on a mountain of giant boulders and every hole is a Magical adventure. The bridge across the caynon is a bit like a roller coaster ride. The blind shots and narrow holes need to be visited a couple times before the golf is comfortable but no place prettier in san diego county. Highly suggest playing during some weather. It adds to the adventure. Tee off the rock on the 13th hole is not suggested. I have done it numerous times but nearly fell last time I tried it. Age stiffles dreams sometimes.

I would say Rams Hill is the number 1 course in southern California.

Ideal spot for a 2 or 3 day tournament or adventure. I look forward to having some events and tours there in the future. Fazio mounding and berm work in his designs adds so much joy to the game of golf. Playing off side and backboard is the peak of fun with a little ball.

Pebble Beach and Monterey trips!

Monterey is a beautiful and the golf there is unparalleled in its quality. Pebble Beach sits atop everyone bucket list and does not disappoint.
Spyglass, poppy hills, blackhorse, bayonet, Spanish bay, Monterey peninsula, cypress point and many others. The rugged cliffs meet the pacific and the tree's are all shaped by MiagiSon. The tree's are magical and I can't get enough of them every time. Pacific Grove is best value in town and a must play. Playing into the dark around the light house with glowballs is a suggestion. Late tee times make it easy to keep playing. My plan is to start chaperoning golf trips around the world and trips locally to Monterey and Bandid dunes. Trip to the Home of golf in Scotland.

12 days, 14 rounds of golf and stayed in a castle for 10 days. Pretty epic trip with 12 of my favorite Homies. The people in Scotland were so nice. A bit like being in the mid west in the US. Always trying to help or just interacting to say hi. Very cool. The best thing was the difference in words. We speak the same language but the words are not the same. We stopped at a market minutes into arriving in Edinburgh. The checkout girl at the market was confused by our not unloading the baskets onto the conveyor belt. We apologized and explained, " sorry were idiots " after unloading are stuff she asked, " if we want a bag?", "sure" was the answer. Then she said, "you want a biggin?" I replied, " I don't even know what a biggin is." We all laughed as she showed me a very big bag. She said, that gave me a wee tickle" and we laughed some more. The interactions after that were alot of the same. Laughing over different ways to say things. Highly suggest interacting with as many locals as possible. I will get into more details in the comments section on courses, bars, restaurants, the roads, whiskey, and everything else Scotland. Wonderful beauty in the land and the people.

Trips across the Border to Bajamar!

Trips across the Border to Mexico can be very Dangerous if your not familiar with the roads or your surroundings. Roads have cliffs on one side and deep drainage culverts on the other that will end your trip as quick as the cliff. That being said. The food, surf and golf down there is unbelievable.
Bajamar has three nine hole courses which has been modified to one 18 recently. The nine holes along the ocean rival Pebble beach.
Cost is reasonable, roughly a hundred but cheaper offers are out there. Their stay and play packages are okay but I suggest staying at Las Rocas hotel 20 minutes up the road. Much better accommodations, great pool and spa. Excellent breakfast and bar at the pool. We typically play 4 on 4 or 5 on 5 scrambles with the losers buying diner. Best format possible for joy. The course is pretty empty during the week and freestyling your group a bit is encouraged. Your mind will be blown on how beautiful this place is. When the surf is large and slamming against the cliffs spray can hit you on a few greens. Clubhouse has pretty good brunch and lunch but I suggest diner up the road at Demitris in LA fonda. Best lobster and bacon wrapped scallops around with many little side courses in between. They finish with a Mexican coffee with whipped cream. The place never disappoints but one note. Bring your own sweet cream salted butter. Have them melt it into a boat. Game changer as their oil/not sure stuff doesn't fly. Enjoy!!!
