Details from my site visit to 7Pines Resort Sardinia last August. The suites here are relaxed and refined with natural textures, soft neutrals, lots of natural light, and views of the sea or gardens. We visited two wineries last weekend during our trip to Healdsburg: Ferrari Carano and Macrostie Winery.

At Ferrari Carano, we booked the elevated Pergola Experience Tasting in the beautiful backyard area to indulge in their world famous Sauvignon Blanc.

Macrostie Winery was next, perched on a hill with panoramic views. They are known for their estate-grown Chardonnay and Pinot-Noir which made for a perfect relaxed afternoon.

Details from this past weekend at Montage Healdsburg. The private bungalow-style rooms set on 250 acres of vineyards and oak groves make for the perfect romantic getaway or relaxing weekend with friends. Sonoma never disappoints!

Finishing out my posts from Bora Bora with the St. Regis, a resort that focuses heavily on marine conservation and is dedicated to sustainable practices. Guests are invited to plant coral as part of the St. Regis’s coral reforestation program, and about a year later, they send guests GPS coordinates of their coral, allowing them to return and see how it has grown. The property is expansive, but manageable with the dedicated butlers. It’s a taste of laid-back luxury.

During my trip to Bora Bora, I also visited the Four Seasons, which stood out for its polished service and thoughtful details. From cold towels and Wi-Fi on the arrival boat to beautifully designed overwater bungalows and beachfront villas, every element was seamless. It’s also the only resort on the island with an on-site doctor—just one example of the warm, elevated hospitality that defines the experience.

The spa experience at The Brando is completely unique and unmatched. Treatments draw from Polynesian traditions and are intended to bring the mind and body into harmony with the natural world. I had an unforgettable time on my site visit and felt totally immersed in Polynesian culture. If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind tropical spa experience, add The Brando to your list.

re’s another hotel for my clients to check out- the Montage Laguna Beach. The property is set on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean in beautiful Laguna Beach, California. It blends classic California charm with five star service, oceanview suites, and one of the best spa settings on the coast. The Montage is relaxed, yet refined, and everything you’d want in a luxury beach escape.

Revisiting photos from the safari I took with my mom and sister in late 2021 and it’s still one of the most unforgettable trips I’ve ever experienced. It was truly a one of a kind family travel moment that has stuck with me ever since and something I’d recommend to everyone.

We split our time between Singita Lebombo and Lion Sands Narina (both incredible), explored South Africa’s wine country with a stay at La Residence Franschhoek, and wrapped up the trip with a few nights in Cape Town at One&Only (plus site visits to The Silo Hotel & Singita Sweni Lodge). Highly recommend every stop.

It’s elegant, quiet, and well-located—perfect for travelers who want to stay central without feeling caught in the noise.
