A NEAR-TOTAL LUNAR ECLIPSE will light up the night sky this Friday!

While technically a partial eclipse, 96% of the moon will be covered by Earth's dark shadow, giving it that incredible, "Blood Moon" appearance. The entire event will be visible across the eastern half of the U.S., while the West Coast will catch the show right as the moon rises.

Really enjoyed the Fairfield by Marriott in Pacifica CA on our last night of our resent trip to California which excluded Lake Tahoe, Yosemite, Angles Camp CA, Calaveras Big Tree 🌲 State Park, Natural Bridges, Muir Woods, Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman’s wharf, and Pacifica. I am going to San Francisco; what should I do there?
Go to Muir Woods it is truly amazing. What a wonderful day. Nice walk, beautiful Red Woods. If you go make sure and reserve your parking spot. Only a limited amount are available. There is a shuttle that runs back and forth from another parking lot.

Muir Woods is definitely worth a visit. If you are planning a trip to the Bay Area and need help with accommodations, car rental, or ideas of what to do DM and we can help.

Are you planning a trip to Angels Camp, CA, and require assistance with activities? Consider visiting Calaveras Big Trees State Park, located approximately half an hour away in Arnold, CA. This remarkable destination features two Giant Sequoia groves. The north grove offers an easy 2-mile loop trail, while the south grove is more secluded. Admission is $10 per vehicle, and the park also features a gift shop and visitor center.
