From July 24 to August 2, 2026, the skies above Gualdo Cattaneo and Massa Martana come alive with dozens of colorful hot air balloons during the 39th Italian International Balloon Grand Prix—one of Europe’s longest-running and most spectacular balloon festivals.
Imagine watching the balloons gently rise at sunrise over vineyards, olive groves, and medieval hilltop villages, then returning in the evening for the enchanting Night Glow, when illuminated balloons transform the night into a breathtaking display.
