Oops! That's pitiful...
I was going to say Shame on you Uber. But on second thought she cant be mad, she knew that the usual fare to her house was $65 so she should not be surprised that 65 x 6.5 was over $400. It sucks but she said herself that they could not get a cab or an UberX or Uber Black so clearly the drivers were all booked up when you select Uber SUV you know you are burning cash. So you can wait for a cab that will never come, walk, wait for surge pricing to end (could be hours) or pay that ridiculous price to get home because it beats sleeping on the streets.

Hey heres an idea take that $400 and get yourself a nice room somewhere...

Elon Musk is also gearing up Tesla R&D to have a product to market by 2017. He has said it will be more autopilot than driver-less and will mostly take over highway driving. Interesting... This is very interesting advanced technology although perhaps a little threatening to those in the transportation industry. Google is said to be working on a car with no steering wheel that they hope to bring to market in small quantities by 2017 while Elon Musk of Tesla hopes to bring an autonomous electric vehicle to market by 2016. Major auto manufacturers are giving more conservative release dates in 2020

Would let an autonomous car chauffeur you on the highway at 70 mph??

Very Interesting...
Track you drive, watch your speed and save money...
San Francisco Drivers that extra acceleration to make the light or get to your destination just a few seconds earlier may be costing you hundreds of $$ per year (per month for some of you)
Take a moment to read this article and perhaps buy the product. Its only 99 bucks and there is not monthly fee! I have seen other products like this but the app seems to be more complete.
