Job Description
The School of Public Affairs and Civic Engagement (PACE) is seeking a responsible student for a work study position of about 10 hours per week for the Fall semester, with possible extension into the Spring semester. Duties will include assisting students with questions, creating and editing documents in Microsoft Word and Excel, photocopying, maintaining the department bulletin boards, designing flyers, answering phones, and other special projects as assigned. The PACE office houses the departments of Criminal Justice, Environmental Studies, and Urban Studies and Planning.
Qualifications
*** MUST HAVE WORK STUDY ELIGIBILITY ***
Excellent customer service skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office and other general computer skills, copying, filing and organizational skills are required. Must be reliable and punctual. Previous office experience helpful. Knowledge of the campus and its policies and procedures or ability to acquire and learn such knowledge is very important.
