Our second stop in Costa Rica was the Waldorf Astoria Costa Rica. After being on the Virtuoso preview board we were particularly excited to see the property and weren’t disappointed! Located in Playa Hermosa, this beautiful new resort consists of nine beachfront pools, two beautiful restaurants, and an elegant cocktail bar, kids club and the friendliest staff. This is a perfect property for a family who want to enjoy a top resort while having access to more of the real Costa Rica.

We are just back from Costa Rica where we stayed at the new Nekajui, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, and we loved every minute! This elegant property is set amongst the lush forest right on the Papagayo Peninsula. The complimentary shuttle made it easy to get to Papagayo Park, Four Seasons, Andaz etc. We’ll share more of our explorations soon!
