I'm sorry to say our good friend Snap the friendly pitbull had to be put to sleep this week. He had a good, full life, and he was just at the right place at the right time for me. He needed walks--and I needed to go on walks, after I ended my first business venture at age 30. I was too much in my head, and walking with him became a joy--we were a good match for each other in energy. Soon, other people started joining us on our walks and Excelsior Urban Hikes was born. Each hike gave me a chance to share my journey with others and have communion, and Snap was the draw & connection that made it all possible. We had many good years together. He is forever in my heart. :-(
