Marketing nomad Dylan Basile of Tree Tribe got my attention at the 2016 Nomad Summit when he presented on the eco-fashion company with a passion for sustainability. Since our meeting, Dylan has had a challenging year. At the time of this interview, he is coming off a 6-month battle with dengue fever, a virus he contracted in Thailand.

In this episode, we talk about the transition to a nomadic work life, leaving Vancouver’s rainy season, the ins-and-outs of social media strategy at Tree Tribe, as well as the most difficult psychological and physical trial of Dylan’s life—dengue.
