The 158th annual Italian Heritage Parade in San Francisco attracts record participation, with 16 bands and more than 100 entrants, attracting thousands of spectators, said Joe Ciarallo, vice president of the parade’s board of directors.

The event is recognized as the oldest Italian Heritage Parade in the United States. The celebration honors Italian American culture with food, music, and community activities.
