JUST ANNOUNCED: Vogue World is coming to San Francisco in 2027.

Vogue World is one of the biggest names in global fashion, known for transforming entire cities into a runway, blending fashion, culture, and spectacle in a way only a handful of cities have ever had the privilege to host.

This is a massive opportunity for our destination. Just like Super Bowl LX put the Bay Area in front of a global audience earlier this year, Vogue World will bring the eyes of the fashion world, and millions of travelers, directly to San Francisco.

Moments like this showcase San Francisco as the arts and culture hub it's always been, introducing our city to new audiences in a whole new way. Celebrities, influencers, tastemakers, and icons will be here experiencing San Francisco firsthand, and that kind of visibility is some of the best marketing a destination could ever ask for.

We ended this weeks LA FAM the San Francisco way: cocktails, dinner, and a whole lot of firsts.

We took our group of tour operators and receptives to Holbrook House SF, a stop on the official San Francisco Martini Trail, for a night of learning what makes SF cocktail culture so special. For some of our guests, this was their very first martini, and they were hooked after one sip.

From there, we headed to Wayfare Tavern for a dinner that showed exactly why San Francisco is a food destination in its own right. Big thanks to their team for the hospitality and for giving our partners a true taste of an SF night out.

Because in San Francisco, the food and drinks are as much a part of the story as anything else.

We used to host this event down in LA. This time, we decided to mix it up.

Instead of bringing San Francisco to them, we flew in tour operators and receptives from the Southwest and LA so they could see it for themselves. Many hadn't been back in a while, so this seemed like the perfect opportunity to tell our city's story through experiences that neither them, nor our visitors, will ever forget.

We're so excited to show off the energy of San Francisco, and remind them firsthand why this city is so special.

Thank you to The Westin St. Francis San Francisco on Union Square and San Francisco Marriott Marquis for showing our group amazing hospitality during their time in SF.

A win for the San Francisco Giants, and a great day all around.🧡🖤

Yesterday, we took our group to a Giants game, and even our Dodgers fans from LA couldn't help but get swept up in the energy at Oracle Park. !

Beyond the game, it gave us something just as valuable: real time with our partners. No pitch decks, no agendas, just good conversation and deeper relationships with the people who help sell San Francisco every day.
