NEWS: Turkish Airlines is pleased to announce an increase in flight frequencies to Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan, enhancing connectivity and convenience for you.

We are increasing the number of flights to Almaty, and Dushanbe.

Istanbul (IST) – Almaty (ALA) – Istanbul (IST) flights will be increased from 18 flights to 21 flights per week starting July 13, 2026.

Istanbul (IST) – Dushanbe (DYU) – Istanbul (IST) flights will be increased from 5 flights to 7 flights per week as of August 3, 2026.

NEWS: EL AL/LY: Continues To Expand And Launches A New Destination In The United States: A Nonstop Route From San Francisco to Tel Aviv

Dear Travelers,

EL AL continues to expand its route network and today announces the launch of a new nonstop service to San Francisco, United States, set to begin on October 25, 2026.

Flights to San Francisco will operate three times weekly, on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, using the company’s advanced Dreamliner aircraft, featuring three service classes: Economy, Premium and Business.

The expected flight duration is approximately 15 hours.
The outbound flight from Israel will be LY49, a tribute to San Francisco's football team, while the return flight from San Francisco to Tel Aviv will be LY48.

EL AL continues to strengthen its North America operations, with 45 weekly flights scheduled this coming winter to the airline’s six U.S. destinations: New York (JFK and EWR), Miami, Boston, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

NEWS: EL AL/LY Vamos Argentina! Non-Stop Flights To Buenos Aires

Dear Travelers,

After more than a decade, EL AL returns to South America with the launch of a non-stop route to Buenos Aires, Argentina!

The non-stop flights will operate twice weekly between Israel and Argentina using our advanced Dreamliner aircraft.
Flight time is expected to be approximately 16.5 hours outbound and 15.5 hours inbound.

In addition, together with the partner airline Aerolíneas Argentinas and through additional partnerships, we will offer onward connections via Buenos Aires to gateways across Argentina and throughout North and South America.

This will be offered alongside flights to additional destinations in South America via a variety of European gateways.

Ticket sales will begin during May, with departures starting in November 2026.

Dear Travelers,
This is an important reminder that from 8th January 2025, as per UK entry requirements, you need an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) to visit the United Kingdom for tourism, visit family and friends, business, or transit through the UK.

Travelers of USA/Canada Nationalities can now submit an ETA application online or the fastest way to apply is using the UK ETA App.

Everyone travelling needs to get an ETA, including babies and children.
Once the application is approved, travellers receive their ETA confirmation electronically.
The ETA is electronically linked to the passport and valid for up to 2 years for multiple entries.
If you receive a new passport, they must apply for a new ETA.

Delta Air Lines unveils 2 long-haul routes from NYC to South America

Delta Air Lines is adding two exciting lines to its route map.

The carrier will launch new service from New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to Buenos Aires later this year, and it'll also resume seasonal flights from JFK to Rio de Janeiro after a more than three-year hiatus.

Daily service to the Argentinian capital will begin on Oct. 28, 2023, and will run through March 29, 2024. The daily Rio flight will commence once again on Dec. 16, 2023, and operate through Feb. 21, 2024.

The 5,282-mile Buenos Aires route will be operated by a 238-seat Boeing 767-400, which features 34 Delta One pods, 20 Premium Select recliners, 28 extra-legroom Comfort+ seats and 156 standard main cabin seats.

Meanwhile, the 4,786-mile Rio route will be flown by a recently retrofitted 216-seat Boeing 767-300 that now sports a four-cabin configuration. This jet, the "76K" as it's referred to internally, has 26 Delta One pods, 18 Premium Select recliners, 21 extra-legroom Comfort+ seats and 151 standard economy seats.
