Looking for a fun fall outing for the whole family? Add the Cambria Scarecrow Festival to your October plans!
Cambria transforms into a giant outdoor gallery filled with hundreds of creative, funny, spooky, and unexpected scarecrows.
🌾 A LITTLE HISTORY
The festival began in 2009 with just 30 scarecrows. Today, hundreds fill Cambria and San Simeon, created by local artists, businesses, students, and families. It’s FREE to explore and runs October 1–31.

🍁 Bring a layer! Coastal fall weather can be sunny, breezy, or chilly.
👟 Wear comfy shoes. There’s plenty of walking between displays!
📸 Bring your camera. Photography is encouraged.
🚗 Use crosswalks and be patient with traffic. If driving, don’t stop in the middle of the road.
☕ Make a day of it! Shop, grab a bite, explore the villages, and enjoy the coast!
