Such a Beautiful Group!!

Strutter Alum, Diana McGinty Schick (1st row-far left) held her annual "En Croix and Friends" Christian mentorship evening recently at our Strutters Always Retreat.

Diana, you are such a bright beautiful light of love and devotion, You show all of us what it means to serve God through serving others. What a blessing you are in our lives!!

Wishing today, August 26th "Happy Birthday!!" to our forever friend and Strutter Sister, Diana!! May God continue to guide all of us in living a life which honors HIm!!

2026 Strutters Training Camp!!
We are beyond thrilled that 4 of our current Strutters could stay at our Strutters Always Retreat for 2 weeks, while waiting to move into their apartments!!

So happy to have this sweet Strutter Alum and her adorable guys come back to San Marcos for a visit and stay with us!

Mackenzie, what a joy to see all 3 of you! The deer tell me that they are really missing that sweet boy of yours!

Our Strutters Always Retreat was such a Happy Home for this weekend's May 2026 Commencement Ceremonies!! Many Thanks to Sabrina Todd's family for choosing to stay with us, once again!!

Hearts can really sing-Strutter hearts just seem to sing the loudest. You created such a stunning and delicious party for your "Brunch and Bachelors." What fun to be part of the lovely event!

Giant Congrats to all the recent TXST Graduates, including, Sabrina,, Sami, and Lauren, all shown in photos below. Both your adoring families, and Strutter families. wish you continued happiness, joy, success, love, and many blessings from above.

Strutters Dance Team Day-2026!!!
Another fantastic DTD in the books, thanks to the awesomeness of our Texas State Strutters AND our Volunteers!!

These DTD Volunteers give 110% in making sure the many visiting middle school and hgh school dance teams feel welcome at TXST!!

Goodness!! They definitely know how to strut those hills...meeting school buses at various locations, leading school directors and hundreds of young dancers around the campus, and finally hushering all to their seats at Evans Auditorium. Such amazing ambassadors for our Strutters and our university!!

Whew- so glad our Volunteer Team Photo happened before hundreds of young dancers arrived on campus. Following are a few quick after-show poses with some of my longtime friends, going back to junior high, Strutter Tryouts, and teaching at Eanes ISD...all such fond memories!!❤️💞❤️

Such a Spectacular Weekend!!!

To top off this grand time, we also celebrated the 15th anniversairy of our Strutters Always Retreat!! April 2011-April 2026

Along with the opportunity to donate 20% of each rental night, It's been such a joy getting to know so many Strutter Families and Strutter Alumnae through the years!! No doubt, we all share a deep love for Strutters and for Texas State University.💃❤️💃

So grateful to our friend and mentor, Barbara Tidwell-Founder and 1st Director of Strutters for 37 Years-for the encouragement to make the idea of a home-away-for-Strutters become a reality!!
