Took myself on a date right after work to the Ohio Museum of Horrors 🤡 in Galion, OH

Saw drawings from John Wayne Gacy, the BTK Killer, and Richard Alvarez aka "The Nigh Stalker", who also had some handwritten letters on display.

Some movies and shows such as Jeepers Creepers, Texas Chainsaw, X-Files and The Lost Boys had some cool displays as well.

There's also a restaurant inside of the museum called The Last Meal, where they literally serve the last meals requested some Death Row inmates that you may recognize. I had the Ted Bundy, and the Pogo Punch (nonalcoholic) and it was even served on a tray to give the "last meal" feels.

Today was a History With Mom Day 🥳

Malcolm X is a well known civil rights figure, but not alot of people realize he has roots in Michigan.

We drove three hours to Lansing, MI (6 round trip 😩😂) to visit the former home site of the Malcolm X's family. The original home is no longer there but they do have a historical marker on what once was the home to the Littles.

We also visited the intersection of Detroit and Michigan Ave, where his father Rev Little, was tragically killed by a street car when Malcolm was just six years old. This location is about 12 mins from the Littles homesite. Some many different stories of what exactly happened that day , but Rev Littles death was ruled a su***de. Malcolm and the Littles always believed that the Black Legion, a white supremist group in Lansing, was responsible for his death.

Soon after Mrs. Little had a nervous breakdown, the kids were seperated and she was sent to the state hospital from 1939 until 1963. She passed in 1989.

We have already visited the home that Malcolm lived in in Inkster, MI last year. The home, which belonged to his brother Wilfred and his wife Ruth, became Malcolm's home when he was released from prison in 1952 until 1953.
