Little kids smashing big Stripers yesterday. Family vacation fun to the max. Most on the troll, but I made 4 casts while we were unhooking doubles and hooked 2 bombers on topwater. That’s about as good as it gets. 7 year old with 4 fish between 42-48”. It’s on.

Up and running for 2024. Joey B headed down to Buzzards this morning to make a seabass collection. Thanks to Ryan for snapping the pic as we went by.

Heartbreak yesterday with a pulled hook on a big tuna, but rebounded nicely today with a pile of stripers. Waiting to see how we placed in a fun corporate tourney.

Lots of great fish on both the morning and afternoon trips today. Helping little guys catch their first Striper is the best part of this business.

Another great day on the Striper grounds. Limits of slot fish for the grill and more fish released than we could count. As Joey B says - “we caught a million fish today”. Bite is on fire this week. We have some open days - give Captain Donald Cianciolo a call to book.

”We caught a million fish” was the report from Captain Joey today. Captain Don’s Grandson Jack was working the cockpit as we have another generation in the family business. Lots of blues and plenty of Stripers to go around. Good times.

Laura-Jay Charters provides 1/2 and full day fishing charters from Sandwich Marina, on the Cape Cod Canal. We target Striped-Bass, Bluefish, Cod, and Bluefin Tuna.

Absolute monster today on the morning trip. Without fail - the girls always catch the biggest fish on the L-J. Bonus points for kissing her fish!

Two boat charter yesterday - great crew on both boats. Lots of stripers and blues, plus a great whale show to start the day. Even had two giants up on top numb enough they could be harpooned without a pulpit (Editors note: Don wants his tuna rods with fresh top shots delivered asap). Really looking forward to seeing everyone at the Rhode Island Saltwater Anglers Association Fishing show this weekend. First time we’ve done something like this, but we are going to have a free raffle for a Daiwa Saltiga1800 spinning reel. Stop by Booth 801 to register. Striped fishing has been completely off the charts. Stripers, Giant tuna, and Humpback whales all feeding in the same area. This is some of the best fishing we’ve ever seen. Surprisingly, we’ve got some open dates. Give Don at a call at 508-566-3830 and get in on the action.
