Camp Namanu Camp Namanu (Nuh-MAH-Noo) is a welcoming and empowering place for kids entering grades K-12 to spend Thanks!

Camp Namanu is going into our 97th summer, serving all kids ages 6-18 every summer. There are three different camp experiences associated with Namanu. Feel free to check out images from all of our program offerings to determine which is the best fit for your family's summer needs.

+ Resident Camp (a traditional sleep-away summer camp experience)

+ Namanu Ranch (a sleep-away equestrian program)


+ Summer Day Camp (week-long day programs located in Portland)

Camp Namanu is also available as a rental location for your retreat, meeting, or wedding needs. We hope to foster positive community and dialogue about Camp Namanu, but we do reserve the right to remove any posts that contain abusive or offensive language.

Staff Training 2025 has begun! This year feels a little different than every summer before. There were days we weren’t sure camp would happen at all this summer and it means so much to be gathered together preparing for campers to arrive in less than two weeks.

We are so grateful to be here and can’t wait to welcome our camp families back to Namanu soon. ❤️❤️❤️

We are excited to offer a standard event ticket as well as overnight tickets for guests looking to extend their time at camp. Buy one ticket or gather your friends and purchase an entire table or cabin. Need childcare during the event? We are offering on-site care for kids 2 and up.

Celebrating the life of our incredible alumni, Alana “Gidge” Eckert, today. Alana poured her heart and soul into to Camp Namanu through countless hours caring for our Weavery. We will deeply miss hearing her bright laugh echoing through the meadow. Thank you for all of your love and support Gidge ❤️
