🌲🚵‍♂️ Harbison State Forest – Columbia, SC 🚵‍♀️🌲

Harbison State Forest has some seriously fun trails, and we got to ride one of the best — Lost Creek! 🤘 Along the way, we found these awesome alternate routes that make the trail perfect for all skill levels.

Most of the alternates add a little more downhill flow, giving you extra speed, plus some small clay jumps and berms for an extra dose of fun. What’s really cool is how the park designed it — new riders can stay on the main trail where it’s more tame, while more experienced riders can take the technical alternates for a bigger challenge.

It’s the best of both worlds! You can ride the same trail twice and get two totally different experiences out of it. If you’re ever in Columbia, SC, make sure Harbison State Forest is on your list. ✅

🚵‍♂️ Getting More Buddies on Bikes! 🚵‍♀️

Last week, right after getting back from Rattlesnake Bike Park, one of my buddies from Indiana was in town. He’s always wanted to try mountain biking but never had the chance where he’s from. I promised him that the next time he visited, I’d get him out on the trails — and that’s exactly what we did!

I set him up on a Specialized Turbo Levo so he could experience what a true electric mountain bike feels like. We hit Markham Woods, one of our most popular beginner-friendly trails, and he absolutely loved it. By the end of the ride, we were tackling features he’d never even imagined trying before!

Joseph said next time he’s in town, he wants to step it up and hit an intermediate trail. 🙌 It’s always so cool to see riders start off a little unsure and finish the ride beaming with excitement after trying something new.

🚵‍♂️ Harbison State Forest & Mountain Bike Trail! 🌲

As always, we’re stoked to get out of Florida and hit some real mountain biking trails! Harbison State Forest, conveniently located just outside Columbia, SC, was the perfect pit stop on our way to Rattlesnake Bike Park. 🐍

After a 6-hour road trip, there’s nothing better than hopping on the bike to shake off the jitters and get the legs moving. Harbison gave us a great warm-up and the chance to dial in on that South Carolina clay before hitting the big features at Rattlesnake.

This was Thursday’s ride — we’ll be sending it at Rattlesnake Bike Park on Friday and Saturday before heading home Sunday.

Harbison was an awesome way to kick off the trip and set the tone for an epic weekend. 🎥 Check out the clip and stay tuned — the full Rattlesnake video drops in just a few weeks!

Rabbit Ears at Alafia River State Park 🐇🌊

Looking for a fun warm-up trail or a spot to practice your jumps? Rabbit Ears has you covered! With its mellow step-up and smooth flow, it’s perfect for dialing in your technique before hitting the bigger features.

This trail has two sections that loop up and back on a peninsula surrounded by water, and from above, it actually forms the shape of—you guessed it—rabbit ears! 🗺️

🚵‍♂️ That dude Coach Bryan making the Waimea jumps at Rattlesnake Bike Park look EASY! 😎

The video and photos don’t even come close to doing these jumps justice. These things are BIG… and when I say big, I mean HUGE! 😱🔥

Since the last time we were there, the bike park has completely resurfaced these jumps — and they are running butter smooth right now. If you’ve been thinking about sending it, now’s the time! 💨

🌿🚵‍♂️ The Swamp Gap at Alafia River State Park 🌊🔥

This relatively new feature at Alafia Mountain Bike Park is quickly making a name for itself! A perfectly lined-up section of jumps ranging anywhere from 15 to 20 feet in distance — and yes, you guessed it… they go right over the swamp lands at Alafia. 🐊

I haven’t seen many features like this where you’re actually jumping over water. Talk about high risk, high reward! 😎

🚵‍♂️ Shooting the H***h at Alafia River State Park! 🌊

Alafia Mountain Bike Trails are packed with epic lines and hidden gems. Sure, the marked trails are a blast—but sometimes the real fun is in the unmarked features, like the lightning-fast hillside descents.

And you know your boy can’t resist shooting the h***h! 🤘 On this ride, me and a cool dude we met on the trail took on the fast downhill tucked off the side of Stardust.

🚵‍♂️ Well, the cat’s out of the bag! This past weekend the Central Florida Bike Tours crew made the trip to Rattlesnake Bike Park in South Carolina — one of the closest shuttle parks to Florida!

It was so nice to explore a brand-new park… and even nicer not having to climb to the top. 😎

We rode Friday and Saturday, and both days were unreal:
• Friday: a little wet, but we had the park all to ourselves to scope out lines and get everything dialed in.
• Saturday: packed with riders, perfect conditions, no rain, and they even opened 50 Shades of Clay!

If you’ve never been to a shuttle park, the progression is insane — fresh legs every run and 20–30 runs up and down the mountain. Each trip, you get a little more confident on the jumps and features. Rattlesnake is the perfect mix of natural terrain and fun, flowy jump lines.

At only 6.5 hours from Orlando, chances are you’ll see me there again soon.
Huge thanks to Marty and Paul for making the drive up from Florida, and to my boy Brian for meeting us from North Carolina to shred. 🙌
