Sanibel Island Sundial Resort, SAVE the CONCH SHELL POOL SLIDE

Sanibel Island Sundial Resort, SAVE the CONCH SHELL POOL SLIDE saving the shell slide ! Loving Sanibel Island and the Sundial Resort. New owners are seriously considering removing the shell slide from the main pool area.

This beautiful slide is greatly loved by all children who have ever visited the Sundial Resort. Kids love it and look forward to the great fun it brings. This unique slide gives the resort character, and originality. Any resort can have a pool slide... only Sundial has a Conch shell pool slide!!!

The latest owners have kept the bottom portion of the slide, but the top shell portion was removed. It is great they still have a slide for the kids to enjoy, we are still hoping they can perhaps restore it back to the original look that was treasured by so many.

This is why the water is brown. So sad and wrong.

This is why the water is brown. So sad and wrong.

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Brown water in Sanibel is cause for concern with local marine biologists.

How is the beach and water looking ? Is the brown clearing up? Please post pictures if you are there. So sad for our beautiful Island and its habitat.

Is the slide still up and running? Please post pictures if you have them!

Has anyone had the pleasure of enjoying the slide this winter? Is it still there?
