So we found these beautiful pieces of furniture on Nextdoor.com. A lovely husband and wife were moving to Colorado. They practically gave them to us. I guess we were due some good luck and kindness from people who did us a real solid. Thanks to you, Mary Brown! Enjoy the mountains. We'll stay at the beach!

Check out the new stones on the side of the house.... And my poor wife spent hours painting the steps, shutters, and railings... But I worked too. I spent a long time watching her work!!!

We've done a lot of redecorating.... new grounds, a spiffy new paint job, and some new furniture but still with a beachy theme.... We now have a March and/or April timeslot open for just the right guests! Gopher Crossing!

Come on over to Sanibel. Most Europeans come to us during Oct-December. It's a great time to see the island without so many people there and very little traffic. But it's all still "happening" on our island

We did get some hurricane issues but our old 1954 duplex cottage still stands the test of time. We're getting new roof and exterior work. Painted rooms pastel beachy colors like sky blue and dandelion yellow bathroom... Fun things to make it even cozier!
