Việt Phủ Thành Chương is a distinctive cultural and architectural complex in Soc Son District, Hanoi, created by Vietnamese painter Thanh Chuong. Built from the early 2000s, the site spans about 8,000 m² and brings together traditional Vietnamese structures—such as ancient wooden houses, village gates, pagodas, and communal halls—many of which were relocated or carefully reconstructed from different regions of Vietnam.
Designed as a “living museum,” Viet Phu preserves tangible and intangible aspects of Vietnamese heritage through architecture, antiques, folk art, and a tranquil natural setting of ponds and old trees. It reflects both the country’s historical village life and the personal artistic vision of its creator, offering visitors an immersive experience of traditional Vietnamese culture.
