By-the-Wind Sailors! ⛵️🧡

Velella Velellas are related to jellyfish (but don’t sting!), and glide along the surface of the ocean with the “sail” attached to its top. They are at the mercy of the winds and eventually end up washing up on the beach by the thousands! Come see this awesome natural ocean phenomenon soon at Channel Islands!
