"HAPPY NEW YEAR, EIN GESUNDES NEUES & FELIZ ANO NUEVO"

With this typically amazing last sunset of 2021 over L.A.'s Santa Monica Bay (after monster rainfalls) from directly over Route 66's last mile-marker of 2,448, I/we wanted to use this post to get out some very important interim info: Our newest and truly unexpected technical problem, that many of our friends' reactive comments now even being omitted as spam or even hate-mail, made this more than totally necessary!! Thanx a lot for all your vital feedback mostly via DM's. And that comes, after we already couldn't directly react to our friend's comments from this page for quite some time. Simply unreal! "What gives", ladies & gentlemen of fb/meta..??!! F.y.i: We went through the 'hacking protocol', which appears not to be the cause. We also tried to connect with fb's tec-support via help within California's higher IT approach-level - also no success! In short: We're simply fed-up and just had it, period. Simply no time anymore for this s..t! I also reflects without a doubt our growing aversion towards fb's main-focus on their bottom-line in stead of protective privacy & humanity! But it's ok, there are certainly reasons why tens of millions of users leave fb every year. No big deal, there's much more to life! Hell, we don't even know if this post will even be visible to you or not...lol....

In conclusion: No worries, I/we'll be in touch regarding upcoming changes in platforms, information, etc. For everything L.A. Tour-related, Adventure L.A.'s www.AbenteuerLA.com will always be there for you! So please, tour-requests only through that website!
One last thing, (teaser): My best friend of 25 years and production-buddy Joe and I have turned a lot of darkness & hopelessness into a fire of great ambition & expectation by creating a brand-new, multi-media production label from scratch. The (still closed) landing-page is currently under construction. We will attempt to generate highly necessary focus on matters we have long cared for, such as human trafficking (Menschenhandel), child & teenage exploitation or the ever shockingly ignored history & plight of the indigenous Natives of America. As long as Joe & I will manage to add a bright light at the end of the darkest of tunnels, that's another step forward...

Hey zusammen! Auch nicht ganz unwichtig, bitte lesen: Ich hab meinen 'X-mas' Beitrag hier noch mal geteilt, um mich fuer eure lieben & geschriebenen Kommentare auf diesem UMWEG zu bedanken und weil hier leider nur ein einziger Kommentar unter meinem Post sichtbar ist. Alle anderen sind verborgen oder verschwunden und selbst ueber den Kommentaranzahl-Button nicht zu oeffnen sowie nirgends innerhalb der Seite aufzufinden😤 Ein paar eurer Kommentar/Seitennamen fanden sich per Emailbenachrichtigung ein, das war's dann auch schon. Die 'Daumen hoch' Likes koennen wir zumindest sehen. Mit diesem technischen fb oder Meta-kack vergeht einem aber auch echt jeglicher Fun! Unser IT-Fuchs hier vermutet nun doch nen Hack oder ne handfeste page-corruption...

Ist ne wahrhaftig wunderbare Sache, hier mit alten Freunden & neuen Bekannten verbunden zu sein, aber uns bleibt wohl nix anderes uebrig, als komplett auf ne andere Plattform umzusteigen. Was FB als korrupte 'Greed-Machine' generell darstellt, geht ja nicht nur uns schon ne ganze Weile mehr als auf'n Geiger! Da haben wir fuer diesen technischen Mist, (welchen der robotische 'customer/technical support' sowieso nicht behebt), wirklich keine Zeit! Und das Frustigste ist ja mit Abstand die Tatsache, dass wir/ich von dieser Seite aus auf eure Beitraege oder Fotos sowieso nicht direkt antworten oder reagieren koennen..!☹️

Dem sich wiederholenden deja vu Wahnsinn trotzend wuenschen wir euch allen aus tiefem Herzen geruhsame & gesegnete Feiertage, mit nem fun & sicheren Rutsch in ein weitaus besseres Neues! 💖☘🙏☘💖

(( Ueberfaellige Zwischennotiz: Diese unglaublicherweise weiterhin nicht zu behebenden technischen Maengel dieser eiskalt inhumanen Facebookmaschine lassen mich leider leider weiterhin nicht von dieser (unserer einzigen aktiven) Seite aus auf eure Beitraege direkt reagieren und/oder kommentieren, was ich uebrigens liebend gerne haeufig taetigen wollte & wuerde! (Business-pages ausgenommen). Das Frustfass war in dieser Hinsicht natuerlich schon lange uebergelaufen...!😠 ))

** Zu den angehaengten Fotos: Uns hat es hier zwar nach nun schon 2-jaehrigem Tour-Totalausfall maechtig zerlegt, aber wir wollten dennoch unserem Traditionsversprechen an besondere AbenteuerLA.com Gaeste nachkommen und die (wieder von meinen unersetzlichen BueroMainzelmaennchen ;o) ausgewaehlten Eindruecke des diesjaehrigen crazy-beautiful Indian Summers hier nachreichen.
Endlich einmal ohne suedkalifornische Braende, spannte sich diese beliebte Jahresphase von einem der wildesten Gewitterstuerme ueberhaupt (October 4), mit spektakuelaerem Feuerwerk tausender Blitzeinschlaege innerhalb weniger Stunden ueber L.A. und der Santa Monica Bay - dann ueber typisch goldene, sonnengeflutete Tage der Ruhe & des Ausgleichs - bis hin zum schwerst ersehnten Regen sowie Schneefall in unseren heimischen San Gabriel Mountains (schon auf unter 2000 M Hoehe) nach abermalig langer Duerrezeit! 😍
(P.S: Googelt ruhig mal 'Lightning Storm over Los Angeles' und zieht euch einige dieser Wow-Images rein).
Zum Abschluss: Ich werde am 25.12. noch individuelle Beschreibungen zu den meisten Pics hinzufuegen.

A SALUTE TO MOTHER EARTH,
in belated recognition of the 50th Earthday of Earth-month April”
Initially intending this post right on the actual Earthday on 4/22, it didn’t pan out because exactly on that very day the missing student I was posting about was found in L.A., due to an incredible effort of a wide and organized outreach!💓

Besides our known preoccupation with 'the virus', I didn’t mind feeling positively distracted for a change to write a few simple thoughts & facts and post photos, entirely dedicated to this ever-timeless principle and fundamental paradigm of our lives, called NATURE. So May-Day it is…
With the exception of title-pic ‘Gaea’ (by Dennis Jarvis), all others are some of my (never photo-shopped or filtered) pix I snapped at favorite spots of memorable moments and inspiring visual beauty along our beloved Southern Cali coastline. (A location/description for all pix will be added). No stressful viewing here - just click & chill a bit ;o)

*** ...Although for only a temporary snippet in time – you can bet your ass and one can only imagine what kind of mythical block-party must be happening right now in the Realm of good-old Gaea, primal Earth Goddess and ancestral Mother of all living things – while she is totally digging this respite of a brief replenishing & rejuvenation of humanities most essential resources - Nature, Water & Air. That kind of quick-fix by way of earthly revenge is most likely the only one we all get before it’s simply too late anyway, as we know it. Current global visuals show a lot to the younger generations how it once was, how it nearly could or should be and how it will never be again, as soon as the majority of our grossly ignorant society falls back on their old habits of simply (and still) not giving a s**t about the core principles of life and our planet. Just sad! For now, what we witness is truly something to behold. A few examples: Not-infringed-upon coastal waters giving essential coral-reefs the rarest of brakes within the cycles of marine-life // We are having the cleanest air ever above our enormous 100-mile-stretch of Metropolitan Los Angeles since the measuring of pollution started !! // NASA and ESA Astronauts spotting such significant reduction of nitrogen dioxide levels, usually caused by the greed of industrial man, power-plants and cars. They will certainly never see such clear, emission-free imagery of continents & landscapes from space again for the rest of their careers // Endangered and encroached-upon species of animals are truly having a field-day, hopefully making the most of this short span of no immediate threat by humans // City-seniors in India are collectively confirming, that for the first time in almost 40 years, they were able to see the Himalayas in the distance as they have not experienced such clear visibility in their adult lives // Last/not least: According to rough calculations done by Stanford University scientist M. Burke, the reduction in air pollution may have helped save the lives of 77,000 people in China under the age of 5, and over 70... ***

Having grown up surrounded by ancient forests in Frankonia, I personally hope, like so many others, to soon be allowed to hike again in our beautiful Santa Monica Mountains and beyond…

From the Bays of Copacabana, to Monterey & Santa Monica California, to the Squares of Saint Mark & Trafalgar - we are stunned by utterly surrealistic scenarios, devoid of people's energy and interaction...!

"REST IN PEACE KOBE & GIANNA"

Waehrend wir gerade zum Mittag des 26.1.20 total unglaeubig auf das immer noch schwelende Helicopter Wrack in den Huegeln von Calabasas hinter Malibu live im TV schauen, moechte ich diese traurige Nachricht mit vielen unserer Abenteuer L.A. Gaesten aus Austria, D-Land und der Schweiz teilen, und insbesondere mit euch, welche wie ich eingefleischte 'die hard' L.A. Lakers Basketball Fans sind. Der Schock weitete sich eben noch aus, als wir erfuhren, dass ausser Kobe (41) auch noch seine Tochter Gianna (13), ein Nachwuchs-Supertalent, ebenfalls an Bord waren. Ueber die restlichen 7 umgekommenen Insassen hatten wir in diesem Moment noch keine Info.
..und das an dem Tag, wo heute Abend der Mega-Event des 'Grammy Awards' Musikpreises wieder im Staples Center der Lakers vergeben wird...

Kobe war fuer mich stets eine ganz grosse Inspiration auf meinem eigenen Wege zur 'Manhood' in L.A. Die Spiele, unsere Parties, sowie die Siegesparaden des 'Triple' von drei Titeln hintereinander entlang des Figueroa Korridors zwischen Memorial Coliseum und dem Staples Center in Downtown L.A. werden mir unvergesslich bleiben, (und was bis heute Teil unserer Citytour ist). Als bekennender Fan der deutschen Fussball NM zwischen 2010 & 2014, wurde Kobe 2018 fuer seine Kurzform-Ode "Dear Basketball" auch mit einem Oscar ausgezeichnet.
..our collectively huge & multi-national purple & gold Heart is broken...
