Some trips are about seeing somewhere new… Others make you realize just how much life is changing.

Our recent college-tour road trips have been a little of both!

New campuses. New towns. Conversations about the future. Copious amounts of coffee. And plenty of moments when I caught myself thinking about how quickly we’ve arrived at this chapter🥹

As a mom, it’s a lot to take in! As someone who has built a business around helping families make memories together, it also feels like a timely reminder of why I love what I do.

Travel isn’t always about the bucket-list destination or the picture-perfect vacation. Sometimes it’s about having the time and space to connect, explore, celebrate, and be together while you can.

So, fellow moms of seniors, as you’re navigating applications, campus visits, graduation plans (and approximately one million other things), don’t forget to make room for the fun stuff, too 🩷

My clients asked for a European Christmas Markets tour.

But the more I listened, the more I realized what they actually needed was more time wandering the markets, sipping glühwein and enjoying the season together - and a lot less time schlepping from town to town.

These besties wanted to explore Prague, Germany and Vienna, soak up the markets, meet other travelers and enjoy a long-awaited trip together.

What they didn’t want? Constantly packing, unpacking and following a tour schedule 😅

So I found them a river cruise!

Now their luxe “hotel” will float with them down the Danube while they experience the Christmas markets they’ve been dreaming about 🥂🎄

Sometimes you don’t need someone to give you more options… You need someone who can listen for what matters, sort through the options, explain the trade-offs, and help you figure out which trip actually fits.

That’s what I do!

JUST BOOKED: Honeymoon Edition 🥂✨

Garrett came to me knowing exactly where he and his fiancée wanted to honeymoon: Excellence Oyster Bay in Jamaica

And I love that!
Because working with a travel designer isn’t always about needing someone to tell you *where* to go. Sometimes, you already know & just want someone you trust to make sure everything around it is handled beautifully.

So that’s exactly what we’re doing🤍
They’re headed to Jamaica for 6 dreamy nights in an Excellence Club Private Pool Junior Suite, with a few little upgrades I was able to score along the way, including complimentary private transfers.

And we aren’t stopping at the resort… I’m handling their flights, Club MoBay, transfers, and all the little details in between so they can spend their time doing what honeymooners should be doing:

I’m constantly on the hunt for great hotels for my clients, and naturally sometimes I spot one that I absolutely have to bookmark for myself!

Hotel Estherea has had a permanent spot in my browser tabs for more than three years. (In my defense, even though I seem to pass through AMS Airport on every trip to Europe, I haven’t actually stayed overnight in Amsterdam again since discovering it😅)

I first found it while exploring Amsterdam’s Nine Streets area and immediately fell for the dramatic interior, rich details, and unapologetically luxe style. Built across several historic canal houses along an iconic canal, it’s completely unique... even having their own resident cat and a library-themed lounge!

Every room has its own personality, and the whole place feels a bit like stepping inside a beautifully curated jewelry box.

After three years of admiring it from a browser tab, I’ll finally get to stay here, and I’m ridiculously excited!! And I can’t wait to tell you whether it lives up to three years of anticipation🥂
