This was us- 2 years ago on our first day of full timing. Different truck, different RV and a very different idea of how RV life would be. The sale of our house had fallen through and we thought about changing course for a moment, but we had already moved out of the house, stored all of our things and were ready to hit the road. So we did. Here we are- 2 years later; still full time, still adapting and most importantly still loving it! It’s been a road of incredible discovery about who we are, giving and receiving grace and accepting that we thought we’d be boondocking the majority of the time because we love the freedom and solitude but finding that we enjoy the resort life as well and it’s meeting our needs at the moment. We’re meeting new people and making connections and just being together - what an adventure! Happy 2 year roadiversary to us 🥰 🗺️🚐

We made it to the Atlantic! We started in the PNW- spent a lot of time on the West Coast and then some on the Gulf Coast and now the East Coast! Scratch that off the bucket list. You can’t tell from the pic but it’s stormy in front of us and pretty much all around us except the lovely spot of blue and blue behind us.

Some people’s kids. Yeah I called them kids 😆
We’re looking and researching a long term ( long term for us) place to stay in Florida this winter. Visiting resorts to see if it’s a good fit for us and also trying to preserve the plans we have already made- just in case. Holding on and letting go. RV life can be a dance- gotta shift with the rhythm and all the while keep some sense of balance so the dogs don’t get all riled up! 😆🤦🏼‍♀️

It’s been a pretty typical week so far. Lots of work, lots of walks, a little ice cream and some incredible sunsets. This is the part of full time RV life that doesn’t get as much air play but it’s the real real- the good stuff. Sure we love to travel and the excitement of new places - RV resorts and local exploration but we love just being. The stillness and comfort of doing the every day things in a new spot every few week. Our pace of travel is about to pick up again - we’re going to just be still and soak up the now.
Please note that while I say this- I’m pulling up about 2-5 places a day and adding to our “ want to go “ list 😂
