Woody and Sharon are some of our favorite guests. They’ve been coming for a few years now and they’ve stayed in Lizzie’s Cottage the last couple of years. We love having them. And I love that I have made friends with different people because of my “job.”
We appreciate all of our guests and especially our repeat guests. And it makes us so happy that they love our spaces so much. 🫶🏻

Some of my family came down to visit for a week and we had a lovely time. They always stay in Yoder House and it’s so nice. We really enjoyed the back yard and Carson and I even had to build legos out there one evening. Shockingly, he won the building contest. Of course, the prize was more legos. 😉
But what I love about the time my family is here is that it gives me first hand experience at what our guests see and feel and need. I always come away from that week with ideas for ways to make things more special for our guests. 🤍

I also want to plug coming this time of year. The “snow birds” are heading home and there are less people (and less traffic!) and the weather is a bit warmer…much nicer for enjoying swimming in the gulf. It might be coming to the end of “season,” but my personal opinion is that out of season is better. 😉
