Making good progress, pool and pavers have turned out nicely, pool was filled with water this morning. On to the other side of the property, more pavers, new outdoor showers, outdoor kitchen, fire pit and all new landscaping. We should be finished by Thanksgiving!

Thanks for everyone’s patience, we will be open November 1st for reservations.

Please keep in mind we are still undergoing work, our pool will not be open for another two weeks.

The beach has been raked/clean, our beach chairs and beach attendant are guest ready.

Tennis/pickleball court and sundeck will be usable.
The best news is we have one elevator in working order!!!

Stay tuned, more updates to come, our new pool, pavers, landscaping, lighting, outdoor kitchen and fire pit will be awesome!!!

Good Morning! Cleanup is underway, pool is being drained and cleaned. Still on track for a November opening.

If you have a reservation and we have not personally contacted you then your reservation still is in place.

Our office has internet, and power, but Frontier has still issues, we do not have phones. Feel free to email us at [email protected] with your questions or concerns.

As mentioned if we have not called or emailed you directly, then your reservation is still in place, Siesta Key businesses and House of the Sun, need your support now more than ever.

Here we go again, just as we were making good progress with Helene cleanup. Siesta Key has evacuated, and House of the Sun has prepped the property and units again.
We will update after the storm passes.

Day One of Clean-up: We are still on target for an October 14th opening to guests. Pool is scheduled for draining and clean up next week, new landscaping by end of month.

Unfortunately, due to damage from storm surge, House of the Sun will be closed through October 13th. We will update as we work through the cleanup.

Currently, no power or water, bridges are closed to the key. Hopefully, by early afternoon we will be allowed back on the key to access damages.

House of the Sun will be closing at noon today, Wednesday 9/25 and remain close through Thursday 9/26 due to Hurricane Helene. We will reopen on Friday 9/27 weather permitting.

Sarasota County Evacuation Level A:

Starting at 7 a.m. tomorrow morning (Wednesday, Sept. 25), an evacuation order will be in place for Level A, manufactured communities, and those in the following neighborhoods:

- Forked Creek in Englewood
- Curry Creek in Venice
- Hatchett Creek in Venice
