Your next sign might have wings or petals.

You keep asking for guidance about your next chapter.
What if the answer shows up as a bee, a flower, or a feeling in your body while you’re standing in a meadow. The signs are easier to catch when you’re actually out where they live. Come find yours →

You don’t need to walk with a shaman.

You need to walk like one.  Slow. Curious. Listening. Letting the land speak directly to you.

That’s how you unlock your own inner shaman — the part of you that already knows how to read the trees, the flowers, the wind, and your own intuition.  No robes. No ceremony. Just presence and willingness.

Most women leave my tours saying they finally feel like they can do this on their own anywhere.  Ready to meet her?

Leave no trace part 2.
Please don't cancel me for this! I brought it home, washed it (because I've heard birds carry lots of diseases), and it's sitting in my altar with other special stones and figurines and candles.

I think it's from a turkey vulture, because I see tons of them in the park. It looks like a pelican feather too, but they are not common here. It's something big. Could it be a Caracara???

Help me learn bird ID from feathers 🙏

I was back at the same spot today and saw more feathers in great condition but I don't need to be greedy. I have my one and it's in a special place and I'm grateful for that gift.

Leave no trace - part 1.
I tend towards a generous and forgiving practice of leave no trace that looks more like, "pack in and pack out."

I have several hard lines like don't pick flowers. Don't dig holes. Don't snap branches off of living trees. But...

❓Will I pick up a dead palm frond and move it 3 ft so that I can lay down comfortably on a mat? - Yes.
❓ Will I toss a couple pine cones out of the center of a clearing? - Yes.

I am very committed to ethical ecotourism and when I introduced myself to the park rangers I clarified these boundaries with them on what is acceptable use. They agreed my above examples are reasonable practices to better enjoy our public lands.

I also do what I can to leave the trail in a better condition than I found it and that means picking up trash that other people left. I learned that as a youngster and a girl scout where we would always spend time cleaning up sites we used, whether it was from our impact or not.

And I think mother Earth recognizes those subtle nuances. She wants us to slow down and sit down and put our bare hands and feet on the Earth. Give a little take a little.

Curious about the Florida landscape? A vortex tour is more than mindfulness. I'll answer all your questions about the landscape.
Real wonder doesn’t require a big trip. Just willingness to listen.
You don’t need to fly across the country or spend thousands.
You just need two or three hours where you actually slow down and listen. The land is ready when you are. srqvortex.com

Walk like a shaman for one afternoon. See what happens.
Slow down. Get curious. Let the trees and birds and flowers talk instead of performing for them.
No big rituals. Just presence. Most women who try this with me come home different. Want to see what it does for you? → Book here: srqvortex.com
