✨ Original vs. Reimagined Royal Rooms at Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside ✨

The Royal Rooms in Magnolia Bend are officially back open after their refresh… and they feel completely different.

Think:
🛏️ Lighter, brighter spaces with a more modern feel
✨ Updated finishes and a cleaner overall look
👑 Princess Tiana touches throughout, but much more subtle than the multi princess design before.

They definitely pulled back on the bold, over-the-top theming and leaned into something softer and more elevated… while still keeping little details like the light-up headboards (now with a firefly glow ✨).

Personally, I think this is going to appeal to a wider range of guests… but I know some people are going to miss the original charm.

So now that you can see both…

One of my FAVORITE photopass opportunities is in Magic Kingdom at the Rapunzel bathrooms, behind the castle at night. 🔆 It’s always got a long line but it’s so worth the wait.

Pro tip: If you’ve seen the fireworks before and don’t mind missing the castle part of them, go while they’re happening. The wait is much less.
