🚨 If you have a 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁 flight booked, read this 🚨

Spirit has announced they are cancelling all flights effective immediately.

I know…not the update anyone wants to wake up to. Take a breath. Here’s what to do ⬇️

If you booked with a travel advisor, reach out to them ASAP. This is exactly what we are there for.

If you booked through a vacation package, you need to contact that company directly so they can help rework your flights within your package.

If you booked flights only: Start looking for new flights right away with other airlines.

A few quick tips:

✔️ Do NOT go to the airport
✔️ Check your email for refund info
✔️ Expect other flights to fill quickly
✔️ Flexibility is going to help a lot here
✔️ If you purchased travel insurance, check your policy. It may help cover costs if you need to adjust parts of your trip due to this

I know this is stressful, especially if your trip is coming up soon…but you’ve got this. Take it step by step and you’ll get it sorted 💛

Travel day reminder with everything going on at airports lately ✈️

Security wait times across the country have been really unpredictable. Some travelers are getting through in minutes, while others are waiting hours. Unfortunately there isn’t a perfect formula right now because staffing and volume are changing day to day.

If you have a flight coming up, my best advice is simple: give yourself more time than you normally would. Getting to the airport much earlier than usual might mean extra coffee or people watching at the gate, but it’s a much better situation than playing fast and loose with timing and ending up back home.

A couple things I always recommend to my clients right now:
• ✈️ Arrive earlier than you normally would, that may mean 3-4 hours early yes even for domestic.
• 🛡️ Consider travel insurance so you have protection if something unexpected affects your trip.
• 🤍 Pack a little patience. Airport teams are doing the best they can with a lot of moving pieces.

This week I’m shining the spotlight on Aruba, and if you’ve never been, this island truly steals hearts. Known as “One Happy Island,” Aruba sits just outside the hurricane belt, which means sunshine nearly year round and consistently gorgeous weather. Its history is a fascinating blend of Indigenous roots, Dutch influence, and Caribbean culture, and you can feel that mix everywhere from the architecture to the languages spoken. It’s small but full of soul, color, and warmth. ☀️🇦🇼

What I love most about Aruba is how much there is to explore beyond the beach, even though those beaches are absolutely stunning. Eagle Beach and Palm Beach are postcard perfect, but the island also has rugged desert landscapes, hidden coves, and dramatic coastlines on the wild side. You can hop on a jeep safari through Arikok National Park, explore caves with ancient drawings, snorkel shipwrecks, or take a sunset sail that feels straight out of a movie. It’s the perfect mix of relaxing and adventurous. 🌊🐠

And let’s talk about the food because Aruba is a foodie’s dream. So many locally owned restaurants serve fresh seafood, Caribbean flavors, and family recipes passed down through generations.
