Send Me to London Travel

Send Me to London Travel ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Full-service travel advisor/agent specializing in Europe with an emphasis on my first love, London.

I can book cruises, train trips, hotels and tours for you. Let me make your London visit into a stress-free magical and memorable journey. I went to London for the first time in the early 90's on a business reward trip. That was before technology and it was actually pretty exhausting and scary. I started going back with my husband in 2015 as a tag-along on his business trips and found myself wande

ring around on my own for days and slowly realized what a GLORIOUS city London is. I have gone 2-3 times a year since then and my travel style is casual and full of wandering. London literally feels like a second home to me and I can't quit going. I am a travel agent and can help you book your London or UK Adventure. I also specialize in Northern and Western European Travel but can book about anything your heart desires! If you are serious about a London trip, you can fill out my interest form and we can talk. I can set up DIY itineraries or curate your whole trip. https://travefy.com/f/6kw9rqwqf8hqra6ueqyqptb2bttwgqqv

Just booked myself to London in August. I never go in the Summer so I'm not sure if this was a good life choice or not. ☀️

But, Delta Air Lines is having a really 🔥sale for Delta One seats using SkyMiles and since my husband literally has like a million miles because we never use them, we decided to go for it.

I'll ponder how hot and miserable I might be that week from my lay flat seat in Business class. 😂💅

But, the real story is that I suspect airlines are seeing lower volumes for late Summer travel. It's rare to get a discounted Delta One seat and I suspect that is going to roll into Economy.

This sale was for well over a dozen cities all over Europe. So, keep your eyes open if you are waiting for flight prices to adjust. I know that fuel costs are high, but they still need butts in seats.

London is in the middle of the first heatwave of the year. London heat hits differently and it's hard to describe why.

But, if you've experienced it first-hand, you know what I mean. You just don't have anywhere to get cool.

You can't dash into a grocery store and expect the iciness to hit you in the face. It's not there. You can't pop into Marks and Spencer and expect it either. You'll probably want to leave immediately because you can hardly breathe. The theatres aren't much of a respite either. Some offer "climate control" which means "we turned on a whole building fan to push the hot air around". Even museums will be stuffy with giant fans moving the heat, humidity and stink around.

You want your hotel room to BE COOL.

And, what's really weird is how many people make their whole personality out of convincing visitors that they never need air conditioning. But, I would bet money that those same people have been lodging the loudest complaints this week about the heat. It's not as simple as opening windows in the city. There is no cross-breeze and no relief from the giant concrete and stone heat box.

And, prayers for the people dying on the Central Line.

I'm never sure if I love this picture or fear this picture. It always seems to give me anxiety. The Walkie Talkie looms over historic buildings. It's both interesting and terrifying. 😂

The London heat waves are coming!

Just because every place you go has level air conditioning doesn't mean it's the same in London. I actually avoid going to London in the summertime because of how hot and miserable places can feel without air flow. But, I know that not everyone can go other times of the year.

This is why a knowledgeable travel advisor is your best hot weather friend. I won't give you some garbage about it only being hot a few days a year. I have yet to have any locals tell me exactly which days those are each year so that travelers can avoid them. You just never know if you're going to arrive and it's going to be 60° or 95°. But, even lower temperatures can feel hot and stuffy if the hotel you're staying in has poor air flow or windows won't open.

Happy Mindshift Monday!

People who think they don't need a travel advisor but then use a Facebook group as one is wild.

Seriously, people, let a travel advisor book your cruise and then plan your pre and post cruise visit. Your mind tells you that we are not necessary in today's world but somehow randos on a Facebook group are a great resource. 🤷🏼‍♀️🤯😂
