πŸ™ On Saturday, March 21st, we rounded out the 2026 SaratogaREADS! season with an incredible Capstone Event with The Soul of an Octopus author, Sy Montgomery. We couldn't have had a more enthusiastic and gracious guest, and can say the same for the crowd. One gentleman drove three hours from Vermont to be here. Other attendees donned octopus socks and octopus jewelry. Several people discussed how much Sy's work spoke to their hearts and woke them up to the emotional lives and social behaviors of SO many different animals, well beyond Octopuses.

πŸ™ We are grateful to Sy for making the trip from New Hampshire to share this special time with us, as well as all who attended on Saturday. We would also like to thank our supporters and partners at Skidmore College, Friends of the Saratoga Springs Public Library, Saratoga Springs City School District, and The Rotary Club of Saratoga Springs.

πŸ“š Here's to another fantastic SaratogaREADS! season, in the books!
