We enjoyed our stay for the thanksgiving holiday. It was a nice touch to have breakfast items stocked in the fridge upon our arrival. The heated floors and heated towel bar in the bathroom were a great addition. I like that the house was set back on a quiet street with no traffic.

Great long weekend get-away spot. House is adoreable. Very nice deck looking out onto creek. Great people watching spot as kayaks go down the creek. Grill, fire pit, and nice seating on the deck. Everything you need in the house. Comfortable beds. Great restaurants in town. Also great walks in the preserve across the creek.

We had a relaxing getaway weekend at the cottage. Being on the creek was such a bonus especially when it was too cold to be outside. It was nice to watch from the warmth and comfort of the couch or bed. Our dog loved it, too!

I love this place - immaculately clean, with Comfort (towels, TP, blankets, pillows, heating, etc provided for). It was exactly what I was looking for in the Catskills as a first timer. The kitchen is very well equipped if you like to cook. The calming, Peaceful View is good for you breathtaking, …overlooking changing Fall leaves backdropped over water with, morning coffee and sunset by the outdoor fireplace, watching ducks swim in packs, squirrels racing up the trees with their nut treasures, an occasional beaver pop up….is the getaway you need from city life. To remind you there’s more than this. You won’t forget this break away. Do it.
Steve, host, is thankfully considerate and kind. I didn’t bring enough food for my visit thinking I would get the delivery conveniences of city. He left food at my doorstep the next morning. That is Above and beyond kind and generous. Later on, I found that many conveniences for delivery are available for Saugerties. So that was easy.
This cottage has good energy and all the conveniences.

We absolutely will be coming back her every year! It is exactly the way it appears on the web site. How thoughtful to leave us breakfast for the following morning. The deck is beautiful and literally on the creek. The beds are amazing and will be ordering the same pillows and mattress topper! Didn't want to get out of bed in the morning but really didn't have to as the view from the bedroom was right on the creek. Dog friendly neighborhood as well. Town is about a 3 minute drive with delicious food and drink everywhere! Garlic Festival was in full operation when we were there. Steve was available and responsive. See you next year!

Steve's place is great! It is a peaceful and relaxing stay. The view was amazing and the bed was so comfortable. I would definitely stay there again should I return to Saugerties.
