Free Concert in the Park THIS Wednesday at 6:00!

Nathan Neuman’s Old Time Band started in January, 2012, and has grown into Minnesota's most energetic and versatile polka/country band! The purpose of the band is to promote old time music, to bring all age groups of the community together to enjoy the pleasure of dancing, and to simply have fun! An accomplished musician and recording engineer, Nathan plays many of the instruments on his recordings, including concertina, bass, guitar, drums and piano.

Did you know the Gradatim Club has been a part of Sauk Centre since 1895? What began as a small group of nine women forming a Literary Society has grown into a legacy of service, education, beautification, and community events that continue to enrich our city step by step, true to their name, Gradatim, meaning “moving forward step by step.”

Over the years, they’ve played a key role in creating the Sauk Centre Library, promoting the arts, supporting civic projects, and uplifting our community. Their mission today is the same as it was more than a century ago: to serve others, foster education, and make Sauk Centre a better place for all.

📚✨ Celebrate 35 Years of the Sinclair Lewis Writers’ Conference! ✨📚

The 35th Annual Sinclair Lewis Writers’ Conference is happening Saturday, October 4, 2025, in Sinclair Lewis’ hometown of Sauk Centre!

This year’s lineup includes award-winning poet and Master Bread Baker Danny Klecko as keynote speaker, plus acclaimed novelist Leif Enger, creative writer Lillie Gardner, and screenwriter/non-fiction writer Brenda Hudson. Attendees will enjoy workshops, a panel discussion, and the chance to connect with other writers in an inspiring setting.

🍷 On Friday night, October 3, you can also take part in Cocktails & Conversation at Babbitt’s Wine Bar, featuring an open discussion around Sinclair Lewis’s novel Arrowsmith.

🌟 Whether you’re an experienced writer, a student, or someone who simply loves books and storytelling, this event is open to you.

💻 Attend in person or join virtually.
🍽️ Lunch is included for in-person attendees who register early.

In addition to baking for Gorbachev and multiple American Presidents, he has been fortunate enough to bake for hotels, restaurants, and casinos across the Twin Cities. Klecko is also an award-winning poet who has been featured in the Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, and The New York Times.
