🎤✨ EVERYONE HAS A STORY. WHAT’S YOURS?

Some stories make you laugh until your face hurts. Others stay with you long after the night is over.

On Tuesday, June 23rd, the Sausalito Center for the Arts welcomes Word of Mouth, an unforgettable evening of live storytelling hosted by Corey Rosen, a veteran of The Moth and creator of Simply Said. Audience members have the chance to put their name in the hat and, if selected, step onto the stage to share a true five-minute story inspired by the evening’s theme: “You’ve Got to Be Kidding.” No notes. No script. Just real people sharing real experiences.

Whether you’re brave enough to tell a story or simply want to sit back and enjoy an evening filled with humor, surprises, and heartfelt moments, every show is completely different because every storyteller is different. Ten names are drawn from the audience, making each event a one-of-a-kind experience.

Sausalito Center for the Arts invites the community to Summer Soiree on June 13 from 5–9 PM for a sparkling evening of art, wine, music, and conversation in the heart of downtown Sausalito.

This lively fundraiser brings together artists, collectors, friends, neighbors, and supporters for a beautiful night in support of The Center. Guests will enjoy wines from Cultivar, cocktails by Sausalito Liquor Co., an artful grazing spread by Grazing Marin, live music by Angus Martin & Trio Tio, dancing, mingling, artist talks, and more.

The evening will be set among SCA’s two current exhibitions: *The Art of Form: Perspectives from The West*, a juried sculpture exhibition featuring 23 accomplished sculptors, and *Beyond the Gaze*, a portrait exhibition featuring four accomplished artists.

Every ticket directly supports SCA’s work to keep art alive, accessible, and deeply connected to the community.

Summer Soiree is a fundraiser, sure — but SCA promises it will be fun.
