The National Spanish Exam (NSE) is a prestigious assessment that measures Spanish language proficiency, provides objective performance feedback, and recognizes academic achievement. This year, 25 Savannah Arts Academy students earned an impressive:

With nearly 85,000 students nationwide participating in 2026, earning a medal or honorable mention is a remarkable accomplishment.

⛳🔥 Savannah Arts sophomore Maya Lilja-Vazquez is making waves at the Class 2A State Tournament! 🔥⛳

Competing as an individual at the Okefenokee Country Club in Blackshear, Maya shot an impressive 1-over par 73 in the opening round and is currently tied for the lead! 👏

After battling back from an early double bogey, Maya finished strong with birdies on holes 11, 15, and 17.

The new members of the Hispanic Honor Society were recently inducted at Savannah Arts Academy! 🎉

These students have demonstrated academic excellence in Spanish and a strong commitment to serving both the school and the Latino community through the many activities of the Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica. From bake sales, food and toy drives, and the Latino Festival to supporting Guatemalan artisans through the sale of handmade bracelets, our students continue to show their passion for the Spanish language and Hispanic culture. ❤️💛
