There’s a new face in town! And before you say “that’s AI” keep scrolling she gets muddy like a regular horse…
Meet SD Painted Princess. Or Ella as we call here around here. She’s a 14 year old Gypsy Vanner originally imported from the UK when she was 9. She’s pony sized but her crazy long hair didn’t get the memo! AND she will be having a foal in the next month or so.

She is the embodiment of a dream come true of mine (Emily) and I’m so grateful to have such a special mare after years of wishing for her✨

Meg turned 25 today! The old girl made a quarter century. She looks and feels like a 3 year old after 2 years of struggling with low selenium and Cushings symptoms. I’m grateful we finally got her on the proper med and hope she continues to feel her best for many years.

After a year of shouting at each other while our brains rattled out anytime the steel wheels crossed anything but deep grass (iykyk)… we have air tires! The wagon looks like a cross between the Oregon Trail and an off road Jeep convention but is such a nicer ride.

The baby goats are cute and all but Joey in the flower bed might beat them🥹

Update on the triplets! Their names are Percy and Perry for the boys and Poppy for the tiny girl. They’re making good gains and seem to be getting everything they need. Fingers crossed they continue to stay healthy!

I guess we need to build them a pond!
Or they’re just at the part of the Hokey Pokey when “you put your left foot in….”🙈

Please excuse us while we run about like headless chickens this week… 🫣

We had quite a shock yesterday morning. Paisley surprised us with triplets! Although small and weak they are all doing well and with some persistence and extra care from us, we’re optimistic they’ll thrive.
Any three of a kind names suggestions are welcome-PJ and Paisley are the parents.
