This cheeky short about a Latina Catholic teenage schoolgirl discovering her young adult self and her love life while being parented by a single dad was a true Joy to cast. BIG congrats to filmmaker and friend Gregg Bishop and his cast and crew of the short film "Howl at the Dead" on their upcoming world premiere at Screamfest Horror Film Festival on October 16th at the TCL Chinese Theatres (6) in Hollywood. STORYLINE: "White in America" follows a three act structure. We visit white people and people of color sharing about whiteness from all walks of life and on all sides of the socio-political-economic spectrum. Our main storytelling devices are: focus groups, interviews, and three protagonists' transformational journeys through race. We travel across urban and rural America with an emphasis on the South.

SEEKING: Conservatives or moderates who are comfortable being on camera and have a strong opinion/answer to the question “What does being white in America mean/look like to you?” Note: This is not a “gotcha” film, nor will the real people who are cast be purposefully shamed or mocked on camera for their honest views. The film aims to showcase multiple, personal truths from varied perspectives, backgrounds, and races, seeking a fuller, authentic understanding of the state of race/identity in America.
