Spent a day at Hawk Hill in the Marin Headlands with Tuesday 1 Hawk Watch Team. A great day hanging with good friend and Day Leader Andrew Bradshaw and got to meet many new hawk watchers.
Despite it being foggy all day we have a nice day with the team being able to study lots of Sharp-shinned Hawks with some Cooper's mixed in. The highlight being a MERLIN blasting through the 25mph gusts and 2 Coyotes posing on the rocks below.

Tuesday 1 – 9/15/2026 - Today was not what eager Tuesday 1 had in mind...the fog struck again, this time, the wind too. We managed barely to stay on our toes in 25mph+ winds and spent more time looking at fog than any landmarks. Tuesday 1 counted 32 raptors per hour over 5 hours (10am-3pm). While the fog tried to steal the show, we were delighted by the Sharp-shinned Hawks dancing in the wind and a close fly-by of a Merlin!
