Our Lake Guntersville Story

D&E Landing is named after us, David and Edna. The name came to Edna literally as we were signing the documents to purchase the property.

Edna's a native Alabamian who grew up in Phenix City. David grew up outside of Boston but found his way to Alabama in the middle 80's. We fell in love with Northeast Alabama after spending 4 years outside of Gadsden before moving to Memphis, TN for 20 years.

Lake Guntersville called to us in the spring of 2013 and we decided it was time to go home permanently! We are, like many couples in Alabama, a house divided. Edna's the Alabama football fan and David'd the Auburn fan. Iron bowl Saturdays are always interesting around our house!

David hunts and fishes the area and is always happy to help with any information you need. Edna's a shopper, and will guide you to every place within 60 miles to get a bargain on almost anything! Between us we've got you covered.
