The dome will be available later this month and is already receiving bookings requests, but I'm sorry to say we have decided to at least hold off on making any other site available at this time so as to respect some lingering concerns of our neighbors. This whole thing is quite a journey and the last thing we'd want is anyone feeling uncomfortable for any reason with our location, thats just not our style. We have GREAT neighbors and we'd like to keep it that way and we'd thank you for your understanding everyone! To reiterate, THE TENT SPOT WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME.

Alright, we've opened up the calendar on Airbnb for the glamping dome! The new dock is due here within 2 wks, but if anyone would still like to book direct for this weekend (before the dock arrives), just send a message here and we can set you up with a discounted stay. Still finishing some other small things, so depending on how soon you are coming, I may offer additional discounts as those odds and ends are coming back together. Sorry for the wait but lots of availability for now till it fills up!

Big minus tides these last couple weeks, where all types of things show up big and small. We are still working on getting things back together, waiting on the new dock to arrive, but even sooner yet we will finally have available tent sites with a family style shore access all its own. Tent sites will be ready in about 2 weeks, and the dome should be in 3-4 wks. Stay tuned for updates pics and availability, the summer is just getting started!

Wow! It was an exciting March this year, with the river reaching a 30 yr high, our site was swept over entirely. We saw it coming and were able to move nearly everything to safety, but lots of cleanup to be done, a bit of landscape rebuilding, and possibly even a new dock on the horizon. Our opening this summer will definitely be delayed a bit, we currently have our airbnb and hipcamp calendars fully blocked out for the summer while our rebuild is occurring. It is likely that we will do a bit of direct booking to begin the summer, at a lower rate than normal as we repair some beautification around here. There will still be direct private river access, but I think we're going to go a different route/type with our dock setup. If you are interested in sneaking in before our formal re-opening on airbnb, just reach out and let us know! Otherwise, I'll try to do better with updating this page as the next month or so progresses and we'll be sure to post an update when we feel we are fully back to our original glory and ready to once again accept bookings from outside booking platforms. Thanks for following our journey here and we hope to be back to seeing new faces and our returning guests soon!

ATTENTION: HAVE YOU SEEN THIS GUY AROUND TOWN??

In a way, he is everywhere we look! This is Levi Scott, born Feb 8th of 1797, and Scottsburg town founder since 1850! Our Town was grown of his vision all those years ago, and we gather at the Community Center each year to honor his birthday. If in attendance, you will have a chance to peruse our large collection of photos, odds, ends, documents, journals, and more that has been collected and provided by the many great families that have called Scottsburg home for generations. PLEASE JOIN US! February 8th, 2-4pm, and let us sink into the intriguing story and impressive history of Scottsburg together!
